Clinical Supervisor

We offer therapy tailored to client's specific needs, whether it be individual, family, couples counseling, or play therapy. Our goal is to help guide them towards positive change so they can live the life they've always wanted.
Our office is growing and we're looking for a fully licensed mental health supervisor to lead our team of wonderful clinicians at our Fenton office, as well as carry a small patient caseload. Therapists may provide in-person and telehealth services, though the ability to provide both is preferable. Supervisors are expected to be available in office for therapists. We are specifically looking to hire a supervisor with experience working with children and adolescents, as well as adults. Our owner specializes in play therapy, and we have found a huge demand for therapists who work with children/teens with a variety of issues, particularly at our Fenton location.
Clinical Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients and supervisees.
- Provides regularly scheduled supervision with limited license clinicians.
- Intervenes in crisis situations involving clients as needed.
- Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders.
- Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
- Meets with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress.
- Involves and advises family members when appropriate.
- Refers patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
- Completes timely progress notes for each patient encounter.
- Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
- Contributes to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Must be available for in-person sessions and supervision over a 40-hour work week.
- Must be available one Friday a month for an in-person administrative staff meeting.
- Must be available for an in-person, bi-weekly supervisor meeting.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
- Current with all state licensing requirements required to maintain full licensure in a mental health field, including LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or LP.
- 2 years post full licensure
